3:00 p.m. - Registration and Reception for Candidates, Officials, Jury Members, and Delegates only.  
                 Location: Davenport Hotel - Elizabethan room

5:00 p.m. - Tour venue for Candidates and Delegates

5:30 p.m. - Dinner

7:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony & Concert.  Location: Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox
                 
                USMC Color Guard Flag Ceremony with the Spokane Symphony.  World Premiere work with accordionist,     
                 
                Grayson Masefield and the Spokane String Orchestra.  Concert with Tango Volcado

October 24, 2012 - Wednesday

            10:00 am - 3:00 pm – Open Mic and tour of the vendors     Location: River Park Square Mall

            10:00 am – CMA Senior Trophée Mondial Round I        Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                            Description: The candidates must perform in the order of their choice
                            - A Baroque work of their choice
                            - A Melodic work of their choice
                            - A Virtuoso work of their choice

           12:00 pm – Lunch break

             2:00 pm – CMA Junior Trophée Mondial Round I        Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                            Description: The candidates must perform in the order of their choice
                            - A Baroque work of their choice
                            - A Melodic work of their choice
                            - A Virtuoso work of their choice

             6:00 pm – Dinner break

            7:30 p.m. - CMA Evening Family Concert                 Location: Bing Crosby Theater

10:00 am - 3:00 pm – Open Mic and tour of the vendors    Location: River Park Square Mall 

9:30 am – National Trophy                        Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Description: Candidates perform one round free choice classical program that must comprise of at least one                     

                baroque work and at least one original work for the accordion 

12:00 pm – Lunch Break

2:00 pm – Senior Classique Round 2       Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Description: Candidates perform one complete original classical work for the accordion.

5:30 pm – Dinner Break

7:00 pm – Senior Diatonic & Senior Variety Round I      Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Description: Senior Variety Diatonic – Candidates perform own choice program that include pieces of 

                different style and character with a focus on original works for Diatonic accordion.       

                Description: Senior Variety – Candidates perform own choice program of contrasting styles and 

                character, ie. Tango, Musette, Polka, Ballad, Jazz, etc.


October 26, 2012 - Friday


10:00 am - 3:00 pm – Open Mic and tour of the vendors          Location: River Park Square Mall

Junior Classique Rnd 2                                   Location: Bing Crosby Theater
                        
                 Description: Candidates perform one free classical program that consists of one original 
                
                 classical work for accordion


12:00 pm – Lunch Break

2:00 pm – 
Junior Variety Diatonic and Junior Variety Rnd 1            Location: Bing Crosby Theater
                
                Description: Junior Variety Diatonic – Candidates perform their own choice program that include pieces of         
                
                different style and character with a focus on original works for Diatonic accordion

                Description: Senior Variety – Candidates perform own choice program of contrasting styles and character, ie.         

                Tango, Musette, Polka, Jazz etc


6:00 pm – Dinner Break

7:30 pm – 
Senior Variety Diatonic Round 2                        Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Description: Senior Variety Diatonic – Candidates admitted to 2nd round perform their own choice program 

                that include pieces of different style and character with a focus on original works for the Diatonic accordion

                Description: Senior Variety – Candidates admitted to the 2nd round perform their own choice program of 

                contrasting styles and character, ie. Tango, Musette, Polka, Ballad, Jazz, etc

October 27, 2012 - Saturday

10:00 am - 3:00 pm – Open Mic and tour of the vendors          Location: River Park Square Mall

9:30 am – Senior Classique Round 3                                Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Description: Candidates admitted to the 3rd round will perform a free choice classical program that includes at 

                least one original piece for the accordion and one polyphonic work


12:00 pm – Lunch Break

1:30 pm – Simply Music for Accordion                                Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Description: Simply Music is the world's largest playing-based music education institution.  Its world-renowned 

                piano method has now been adapted to accordion.  Simply Music Founder and Executive Director; Neil 

                Moore, will present and demonstrate the methodology that has students of all ages playing great sounding 

                music from their very first lessons. 


3:30 - 5:30 pm – C.M.A. congress meeting (for Jury Members & Delegates only

5:30 pm – 2012 Trophée Mondial Awards Ceremony & Concert    Location: Bing Crosby Theater

                Concert by all 1st prize winners


8:00 pm – American Dance and Celebration with Tuxedo Junction Big Band 

                Location: Davenport Hotel: Grand Pennington Ballroom Hors d’oeuvre served – No host bar
